Raced at Sebring in 1957 by Colin Chapman and Joe Sheppard where it won its class and came in 11th overall.
Joe Sheppard owned it in 57 and raced it with Colin at Sebring where it won its class.
Joe Sheppard lent it to a friend that crushed the front side of the… car.
A new nose was made by William and Pritchard and part of the front frame was removed and replaced due to damage.
It was completely dismantled in the 70's and stored in a heated garage where it remains today.
Car was inspected in December 2025 by Russ Hoeing the US Lotus Eleven and historian that confirmed that #276 (original engine 400.7.7014) is complete Except for three minor pieces and the steering wheel (stolen about 30 years ago).
