Delivered new in Brescia, Italy, this early Ferrari California is finished in a particularly elegant Blu Pozzi over Cuoio leather specification, a combination that suits the understated Grand Touring character of the model exceptionally well.
When introduced, the California represented an important new chapter for Ferrari. It was the marque’s first series-production car to combine a front-mounted V8, a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and a retractable hardtop, while also bringing direct fuel injection to a Ferrari road car. Despite its more versatile… character, it remained every bit a proper Ferrari.
This example belongs to the original naturally aspirated generation and is powered by the 4.3-litre V8 producing 460 hp, before the California range moved to turbocharged power.
