Iconic and stylish—that's undoubtedly what characterizes the Jaguar MK2. It's no wonder it remains a very popular classic car. This is not only due to its stylish design, but also to the exceptionally comfortable driving characteristics of this British classic. The Jaguar MK2 was produced from 1959 to 1967 and was produced in very large numbers. The car was available with three engines, including this one with a 3.4 liter engine (better known as the 340).
This Jaguar MK2 340, produced… in 1967, was originally delivered in the United Kingdom and arrived in the Netherlands in 1993. Various historical documents, both from England and the Netherlands, are also included with this car. The Jaguar MK2 features a stylish mid-grey metallic finish with a beautiful red leather interior. In our opinion, the perfect color combination. The bodywork is in reasonably good condition, although some signs of age are visible in several places. The chrome is also generally in good condition, with some signs of age visible on some chrome and trim parts. This also applies to the various rubber parts and finishes. The stylish spoke wheels are a beautiful combination with this stunning body color.
The red leather interior is still in exceptionally good condition. The seats and rear bench are not only comfortable but also in good condition. The woodwork is in reasonable condition and shows signs of patina. The gauges and instruments are in good, attractive condition. The headliner is still original and in good condition.
This Jaguar MK2 drives and shifts exceptionally well and has recently undergone a major service (invoice available for over €8,000.00). The brakes feel firm and good, and the steering works well and properly. For optimal cooling, an additional electric cooling fan was installed in the past. The car is also equipped with a DEFA alarm system.
