This 2000 Land Rover Defender 90 was originally delivered new in Switzerland and was refinished in metallic gray around 2010. It was imported to the Netherlands in 2017 and has benefited from extensive refurbishment and upgrades in 2025. The work included media blasting and refinishing the chassis, fitting 18-inch Lucari alloy wheels, upgrading to LED exterior lighting, installing a Kbx grille and fender intake, and replacing various suspension, braking, exhaust, and interior components.
Power comes from a 2.5-liter Td5 turbodiesel inline-five… paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The engine has been enhanced with revised management software and an AlliSport intercooler for improved performance. Additional equipment includes a locking center differential, a hardtop, four-wheel disc brakes, rock sliders, aftermarket bumpers, heated front seats, a Kenwood CD stereo, and a cabin heater.
The result is a well-maintained and tastefully upgraded Defender that retains its classic character while benefiting from a range of carefully selected improvements for both everyday driving and off-road capability.
